He was free to walk out in the night. Free to move along and do his own thing. He wasn't hovered over by others, simply because he is no one's kid. That and he hardly left the camp. He was always there watching others or making toys. He was a good child, really.
Today he was out in the lands. Wandering along and collecting wood for future toys. Placing them in his little basket. He was eager to try making some with moving parts. He thought he was alone and could be himself. Maybe he should have paid better attention.
