"Boy, wait!"

That alone was enough to stir the doctor from his resting place outside the homeless shelter. It spurred him to move and to look for the voice, only to find a blue streak in between buildings being chased by a white canid. And as the canine pleaded and begged for the smaller figure, they just kept running. Olivier hummed, then watched as the blue feline ran out of the town, following them until the edge of the burnt jungle, and staring at the canine -- Kold, he remembered as she turned to face him.

Kold was a strong-willed woman, from what Olivier had seen and heard of her. Councilwoman of wellbeing, one of Olalla's close confidants. Or more, if rumors were anything to be believed. He recounted that she had adopted a small kitten she had found while exploring. A little blue cat she named Boy. The two were near inseparable, and now...?

Kold's inky eyes stared at Olivier's crystal blue ones, and she turned away and kept following her son. Into the night. Olivier sighed, watching them run. He was in no space to try and help, but maybe someone else would? The doctor turned to walk back to the camp, eyes darting for anyone who was awake. Anyone who could help.

    always heard the scream and watched boy dart past her as she limped onto her porch. her eyes flicked over to kold and then back to the doctor and jor. concern in her eyes as she moved off her porch to go help kold find boy. not for kold's sake, but because boy was someone she cared about.
