I WON'T GIVE UP, I WON'T GIVE IN
it had been a few days sense she made her choice to stay with her new friends and family. honestly, it hurt to see her mom and brother, or, well, sibling. she was happy they were alive again and came back to her. yet, she was destroyed by the fact that they were not staying here. she knew they looked for her. they both admitted that.
it brought so many feelings inside her to the surface. "oh little squeaker.. what am i to do.. i love my mom and sibling, but.. i love byriath and saturn more.." she turned to look at her tiny jerboa friend. they were watching her with their head tilted. big eyes watching her as she paced her room.
"i still want to know them.. but byriath and saturn are my family now.." she paused and circled in place a moment. "not to mention plexus.. i couldn't leave plexus.. he is like my big brother.." she stopped to look at her jerboa. the small beast squeaking and scampering over to her.
zuriela would let the tiny thing crawl up onto her back. then she would make another loop about her room. "and corrupted flower.. i don't know.. i feel so happy even when flower picks on me.." she huffed as she swatted a small wooden ball across the room. listening to it clatter against the wall.
she was struggling to keep it together and tears were stinging her eyes. tail fur bushed out as she let out a little whimper. "i just.. have so much to lose if i go to mom, and she has so much to lose if she comes here.." she choked on her words as the tears fell from her eyes.
"I know you don't understand me.. but.. i sure wish you had the answers.." she whispered as she looked up at the window across from her. storm clouds rolling in we oddly fitting for her emotions. to oddly fitting and she slunk over to her bed.
sinking onto the covers and closing her eyes. "why me.."
