THE GODS WILL PAY!

A massive crystal wyvern was idly staring out into the night as he lounged by the Tiger's Pool. The molten liquid bubbling and popping were not heard as he was lost in thought. He knew he would have to start preparations soon, he has done enough groundwork to ensure the commonfolk and Counsel will agree with him. He is only unsure of how to deal with the new High Priestess...But he shook his head and filed that away for later.

"Oh Tiger's Eye and Sapphire, please bless this venture as we take our war to the gods. We will right their wrongs in the curse of the innocent." Nord murmured a short prayer, as he felt his dragon heart necklace thump against his chest again. It and the pop-up book was the only possessions he kept outside of his custom forged crown and his velvet cape. He remembered being a little hatchling and listening to his mother tell him the story of how the Isles were cursed. How they were known as Crystal Bloods. He was of high descent as one of his ancestors was part of the small group of war seekers that fought the gods willingly. Nord gingerly stood, and he launched himself into the sky without as much as a peep. His figure casting shadows below as he flew over the landscape, lost in thought.

His golden eyes were narrowed, he would bring justice to the Isles. Whether the Gods liked it or not. But, first, he'd have to see how to get the High Priestess on his side.
