Within the midst of the neutral grounds lied a small flatgrounded field. In the middle of it laid a crimson and white plaid blanket laid out with a woven picnic basket on top. Along with that, spread along the area were small paper hearts and two napkins in the shape of (very lopsided) swans. Hopefully it was appeasing to the eye as Brutus did try his best. Then again, he was absolutely not a romantic. However he tried.

[align=center][div style="width:60%;overflow:auto;font-family:verdana;font-size:11px;text-align:justify"]Izulu had wondered around in search of the place that he was meant to go for the blind dating, when he had stumbled upon the plaid blanket adorned with picnic items and the cute - but lopsided - napkin swans. It clearly showed that this was something that someone actually took time into setting up, rather than simply finding or trading for things to use that were already made, and he appreciated that. The one in charge of this whole set up could have just matched the two then decide to make them do something together and figure it out. As awkward as that would have been it would have made them connect more, but, Izulu was glad that didn't happen.

Sitting down on the blanket, the lion would look around for a moment, waiting for Bai shi to show up.

oh gods have mercy, they had overslept! bai shi alid through the clouds and sky, cutting like a shimmering golden arrow through the air currents. they passed over and circled back, scything to the ground below where they landed gracefully, their mane floating around their body as they switched bodies into their fox form, the wind buffeting their fur for a moment as they trotted over, long whiskers twitching and curling.

"I am so sorry!" they gasped, "I just got settled into elysium and I overslept!" they apologized, bowing their head as the being did their best to tame their wildly beating heart, the thrill of sky-high flying racing through them still.

their gaze would meander over the decorations, a warmth spreading through their body as they allowed their form to relax, murmuring, "it is rather quaint, I like it. the one who made them put a lot of thorough effort in."
