Perhaps, in a better world, Zimavich would have still been strong and brave. He would have become the leader, eventually. He would have been one of the greats.

He didn’t care for that now. Much less think about it. No, he was too preoccupied with getting his nose in something good right now. Maybe it was his Russian senses, but there was something sweet and tangible in the air. It smelled like rubbing alcohol. It was familiar him, but he wasn’t sure why. Maybe it was something he used to eat?

His ears perked forward at the sound of glass clinking. It was a clear liquid in tall, glass bottles. He dragged the basket out with his teeth to the porch, and plopped down, nearly breaking breaking the wood under his weight. He took one out, sniffing it all over and devising how to get to the goodness inside.

Eventually, he devised that the best way was to break the neck of the bottle with his teeth, spit it out, ignore the blood, and downed the Smirnoff.

She drank only a little though those were mostly champagne or wine since they had that mainly at the palace, her ears twitched a bit as she limped over trying to get used to walking on three legs and with her broken wing tucked to her side to heal. She only drank when there was a special occasion otherwise, there wouldn't be any alcohol ever found in the possession of the Goddess. The jaguaress finally approached and took a seat near Vigenere only to frown with concern at the blood as she said with a tilt of her cranium "Zimavich, darling, do you want some help?" She proceeded to lift up her paw to show off those golden talons of hers, she was sure she could pop off any lid or cork.

The bear sat up and dropped the empty bottle, panting heavily. There was a fire in his belly and it went to his throat. He smiled idly, breaking the neck off a new bottle and offering it to his friends.

He didn’t need help, opening them this way was fine.

Zimavich didn't seem to want any help and she supposed she was fine with that as long as he didn't hurt himself by breaking off the neck of the bottle with his powerful jaws. When Zima offered them vodka, well, she was a bit hesitant since she normally didn't indulge in these kind of hard drinks but she supposed that she would try it a bit since it'd be rude to not want any. She smiled at Vignere "Just a little, dear." She finally uttered calmly, her molten honey gaze watching Zimavich for a moment and would sigh with a shake of her head but was still smiling.
